Feather/Down duvet or Comforter?
Which do you prefer?
When you see a feather/down
comforter it means there is a percentage of feathers and a percentage of
down. Usually the percentage of feathers is 95% to 5% down.
When you see a picture in a magazine or on TV of a bed on these home and
garden
shows and you see this bed with this fluffy comforter or a nice soft feather/down comforter, doesn't it
make you want to jump on it to see how it feels? Picture yourself lying in bed
and listening to the rain outside, and you're comfy and cozy and warm under
your feather/down comforter or fiberfill comforter drifting off to sleep.
What more could one ask for after a hard days work, coming home tired and
all you can think of is getting into that wonderful bed and falling asleep
under that cozy comforter.
When shopping, see if you can
buy a comforter set, or a duvet cover for your feather/down comforter to
protect them from getting soiled.
When buying a comforter look
and see what the laundering instructions are. A Feather/down comforter needs
to be dry cleaned.
Why not purchase duvet covers
for both the comforter and the feather/down comforter. This way all you need
to do is launder the duvet cover and your comforters will stay cleaner and
fresher longer.
When using a duvet cover for
your comforters, always use your flat sheet too, this way you won't have to
change the duvet every week when laundering your sheets.
